Junebug Doubles Tournament 2008
The Junebug Doubles Tournament was held on Saturday, June 7 under party cloudy skies. A round robin was played in the morning, then the teams were seeded and placed in one of two elimination draws. Congratulations to Leo Modi and Tony Parpotta who defeated Eric Hurlburt and Aldo Pignotta 8-4 in the 'A' final. Brandon Armstrong and Joseph Yelle won the 'B' final with a 8-6 victory over Colleen and Jeff Armstrong. Thanks to Aldo Pignotta and Peter Munzar for organizing the tournament, and Joanne Munzar for providing refreshments for the day and donating some nice pottery as prizes.
